Step 1: Complete your membership application

Fill out the application to join mkk - meine krankenkasse and send it to us.

What happens next?
We’ll review your application and contact you if any additional information is needed. Once approved, you’ll receive confirmation of your insurance coverage. If you’d like, we can also inform all relevant parties about your switch to mkk.

Step 2: Submit a passport photo for your Health Card

To issue your health card, we need a passport-style photo from you. You can submit it:

• By mail: mkk – meine krankenkasse, 10857 Berlin
• At one of our mkk Service Centers, where we can take your photo for you
• Online, by uploading it directly to our website

Step 3: Sit back and relax

We’ll handle the cancellation of your current insurance and send you all necessary documents so you can quickly start enjoying the benefits of mkk – meine krankenkasse.
